Shanghai Residences are located in central Shanghai, in the Former French Concession (FFC) area. The FFC has a European ambiance, with French Phoenix Trees lining the streets, and many of the original buildings within the area are colonial 1920s and 1930s European style villas and townhouses. This part of Shanghai has been called the "most charming" district of the city, and many countries have selected venues in the FFC as their consulates, within a few blocks of Shanghai Residences.
